Welcome to Airplane Mode
Airplane Mode is born out of a love for traveling, food, photography, a recent work trip that culminated in 25 days abroad, and a few good friends nudging I document my long winded travels.
Admittedly I have always been a helpless romantic for a life full of experiences, getting lost, and hopeless views. This blog is my little idealistic dream land of all the best travel experiences. While I am a loyal indecisionist to put a stake in the ground, I am starting this blog with the intention to show anyone how they can embark on amazing adventures, where to go, stay, eat, how to capture points, miles and even do it mostly for free.
This year may have been a little much, clocking in 38 flights, 18 cities, and 6 countries. The good news is 80% was completely free, and I have an abundance of material to share. Stay tuned for the floating titles in my head: The Underrated City of Vevey, The Year of Free, Living out of a hotel in London, Hanging out with Monkeys in Japan, and who knows what else!?
I'll leave you with a final thought. There are a lot of people that have the hope to see the world, but so often they don't for whatever reason. I'm here to say that the difference between wanting to go and going is as simple as booking the flight.
